TREATMENTS WE OFFER

m icon white.png
Routine Exams

By far the best way of keeping your mouth and teeth in the best of health is to attend routine Examinations with your dentist. That way you can be screened for early signs of decay, gum disease and mouth cancer.

Nervous Patients

Our Dentists are experienced in treating nervous patients. What's more, if you tell your dentist that you`re particularly nervous, they can prepare and make sure your visit is easy-going and stress-free as possible.

White Fillings

White (composite) fillings are made out of powdered glass and ceramic added to resin base, which comes out to shade of white which matches your teeth.

Dentures & Veneers

A Veneer is a thin moulding , custom-made from porcelain, which is bonded to the front surface of the tooth.

Dentures are removable false teeth made of Acrylic (plastic), nylon or metal. They fit snuggly over the gums to replace missing teeth.

Emergency Dentistry

All registered patients have an Emergency service for evening and Weekends.

You can call the practice for the Emergency details.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening involves bleaching your teeth to make them lighter. It can make your teeth brilliant white, but can lighten the existing colour by several shades.

Invisalign

Invisalign treatment uses clear, removable aligners, which straighten your smile discretely. With no wires or brackets, they`re a discreet alternative to conventional fixed braces.

Bridges & Crowns

Crowns and Bridges are fixed prosthetics which, unlike dentures are cemented to your teeth or implant and can only be removed by a dentist.

Inlays/Onlays

The difference between inlays and Onlays is that an inlay is placed inside a cavity on your tooth, whilst an onlay replaces cusp (s) (tips) of your tooth.

Examination X-Rays

Dental X-rays (radiographs) are internal images of your teeth and Jaws. Dentists use X-rays to examine structure they can`t see during a routine checkup, like jawbone, nerves, sinuses and teeth roots.

Extractions

A tooth extraction is a dental procedure during which your teeth  is completely removed from its socket.

Hygienist

A dental hygienist is to prevent and treat gum disease and to help demonstrate how you should look after your oral health.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (endontontics) is a dental procedure used to treat infection  at the centre of the tooth. Root canal treatment is not painful and can save a tooth that might otherwise have to be removed completely.

Amalgam Fillings

Amalgam Fillings (silver-coloured) - a mixture of metals, including mercury, silver, tin and cooper.

A dental implant is a titanium screw that’s placed directly into your jawbone, replacing your missing tooth root. After it’s fitted, the bone surrounding your implant will gradually fuse to it, holding the implant firmly in place.

A false tooth (a crown) which matches the colour and shape of your existing teeth is then fitted to the top of the implant, leaving you with a fixed solution and a natural looking smile.

HAPPY PATIENTS

m icon white.png

"I went to Moons after a recommendation from a friend. Having not been to the dentist for some time, due to a bad experience, I was rather apprehensive. Moon and his team immediately put my mind at rest with their friendly professional approach. I had some minor treatment and was completely at ease during the whole procedure. I would recommend Moons to anyone."

"Very relaxing and great patient care great service they made me very relaxed."

"Moons Dental has been amazing. Friendly, professional, and caring practice.
Appointments made to fit in with personal life and additional plans made to ensure the best possible result for my teeth has been achieved.
Customer service is excellent, and they always show support for mental wellbeing alongside the dental care.
Would highly recommend them."

"Having been mine and my family’s dentist for so many years. We are so pleased Moon finally has his own practice. He is without doubt the best dentist I have ever been with simply due to his calming nature, the clear and understanding way he explains what treatment(s) you require and most importantly, the actual work he performs. First class. I highly recommend him to anyone else, especially any of those who are nervous about going to the dentist because Moon will put your mind at ease."
